Every year, somewhere, a creation is made that says everything. This is the stage that crowns it.

Showcase of the Year succeeds Streetstar's Advanced category — rebuilt as an international title, open to crews, choreographers, schools and independent creators.

One creation.
Four ways of seeing it.

How completely the dancers bring the creation to life. Energy, expression, stage presence and connection with the audience.
The command behind the movement. Control, clarity, execution, musicality, timing and foundational skill.
What makes the creation distinctly its own. Originality, artistic expression, storytelling, concepts and transitions.
How the creation is built. Movement vocabulary, structure, musical interpretation, tempo, levels and formations.

A member of the legendary Elite Force Crew, one of the influential figures who helped shape hip-hop dance in New York during the 1990s. His career includes work with Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Will Smith, including appearing in Michael Jackson's Remember the Time. Rooted in hip-hop and freestyle, Link brings decades of knowledge of musicality, groove, foundations, creativity and cultural authenticity — looking for dancers who understand the music and bring individuality to their movement.

Dancer, choreographer, teacher and artist researcher, trained at the Alvin Ailey School in New York. Since founding her company there in 2011 she has created and performed across Europe, Africa, Asia and the United States. Gold Medal at the 2012 Biarritz International Contemporary Dance Competition. She values musicality, individuality, presence, risk, intention and authenticity — looking for a distinct voice, the courage to make bold choices, and the ability to command the space.

Choreographer · Creative Director · Producer

Works at the intersection of choreography, creative direction and large-scale music production. Through Jean Baptiste Group she develops visual concepts for television and live performance, combining movement, staging and direction with some of Sweden's leading artists and emerging dancers. Recent work includes Creative Producer for Switzerland at Eurovision 2025 and Show Director for Veronica Maggio 2026 — a perspective shaped by how choreography, performance and visual concept come together on the professional stage.
